Gang bricklayer — Thiruvarur

We are recruiting: we are hiring a gang bricklayer in Thiruvarur, State of Tamil Nadu. You will be based at a renovation and extension job. Your main tasks: • Cutting bricks to size with a bolster and club hammer or angle grinder • Installing damp-proof courses, lintels and cavity trays • Building cavity walls and bedding in wall ties and insulation • Setting out walls from the drawings and marking the brick gauge • Erecting and working off trestles and scaffold lifts • Bedding in air bricks, weep holes and wall starters Ideal candidate: • Own trowel, spirit level and basic hand tools • Able to lay to line, level and plumb consistently Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
