Tig welder — Darrang

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a tig welder in Darrang, Assam. Day to day you will prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run; clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding; control heat input so thin sheet does not warp; weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges; back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring). What we are looking for: • Steady hands and good close-up eyesight • Proven experience with TIG/GTAW on stainless and aluminium • Sound knowledge of shielding gases and tungsten selection At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
