Join our team: we are hiring a lift erector in Darjeeling, West Bengal. The job is on a high-rise construction site. Requirements: • Sound electrical competence in three-phase and low-voltage wiring • Physically fit to lift heavy components and crawl in tight spaces • Ability to read electrical and wiring schematics Day-to-day duties: • Set and test the overspeed governor and safety gear • Test buffers, final limit switches and the emergency brake • Measure rope tension and check for broken strands • Fault-find control circuits with a multimeter and test instruments • Respond to entrapment call-outs and release trapped passengers • Rope up the traction machine and reeve the hoisting cables Six days a week, one day off.
