Join our team: we are hiring a hand presser in South Salmara Mancachar, Assam. You will be based at a textile finishing unit. The role involves keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure; operate the steam press and vacuum table to finish garments; fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press; give each garment a final press before packing; check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots; sort bundles by fabric, shade and order number. Ideally you have able to keep pace with line speed and piece targets; aware of steam iron safety and basic machine upkeep. Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough. ₹36,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Full-time with occasional weekends.
