What we are looking for: • Confident with manual handling and load securing • Valid HGV/LGV Class 1 (C+E) licence • Current Driver CPC qualification card Day to day you will couple and uncouple the trailer and check the fifth-wheel lock; check load weight and axle distribution against permitted limits; operate tail-lifts and pump trucks during loading and unloading; plan routes and rest stops in line with driving-hours rules; check tyre pressures, engine oil, coolant and brake fluid levels.
