Great opportunity: we are hiring a marble fitter in West Khasi Hills, Meghalaya. We are looking for reliable timekeeping and able to work in a team; 2+ years' experience working with marble, granite and natural stone; able to read measurements, templates and cutting lists. Day to day you will shape edges, bullnoses and bevels with an angle grinder and profiling wheels; level and align slabs so joints stay tight and surfaces sit flat; restore old marble by honing, crystallising and buffing back to finish; fix marble cladding to building facades with anchors and clamps; seal natural stone against staining with impregnating sealers; polish stone surfaces to a high gloss using diamond pads and polishing compound.
