You should have: • ITI in welder trade or equivalent • Able to grind, fit-up and tack independently On the job you will handle: • Set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness • Load ER70S-6 wire spools and check the drive rolls • Grind back and re-weld any defective runs • Bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding • Set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator Rotating shifts.
