Great opportunity: we are hiring a CO2 welder in Pattanamtitta, State of Kerala. The job is at a pipe and tank fabrication yard. The role involves: • Weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions • Set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness • Clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead • Change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch • Maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose • Tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing What we are looking for: • Willing to work shifts and overtime • Comfortable welding mild steel, stainless and aluminium 6+ years on the tools preferred.
