Great opportunity: we are hiring a banksman in Jehanabad, State of Bihar. The job is on an offshore oil and gas platform. Day to day you will establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area; select the correct slings, shackles and chains for each load's weight; attach wire rope and chain slings to loads using shackles and hooks; coordinate tandem and multi-crane lifts with the signaller. You should have: • Ability to read lift plans and rigging diagrams • Physically fit to handle heavy chains, slings and shackles • Sound knowledge of working load limits and sling angles 5+ years on the tools preferred.
