Great opportunity: we are hiring a carpenter in Pashchim Champaran, State of Bihar. You will be based in a cabinet-making workshop. You will cut mortise-and-tenon and dovetail joints with chisels and a mallet; assemble bespoke and flat-pack kitchen units and fit worktops; cut sheet material and timber with a circular saw, jigsaw and table saw; plane and sand timber to a smooth, square finish. You should bring confident with hand and power tools such as saws, routers and planers; at least 2 years' hands-on carpentry experience; NVQ Level 2/3 in Carpentry and Joinery or equivalent. 4+ years on the tools preferred. ₹26,500 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
