Immediate opening: bar bender and fixer (State of Andhra Pradesh)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a bar bender and fixer in Nellore, State of Andhra Pradesh. You will be based on a commercial tower construction site. Day to day you will lap and splice bars to the specified lap length; install chairs and bar supports to hold up the top mat; check bar diameter, spacing and cover before the pour; set out starter bars and column dowels for the next lift; assemble column and beam cages on the bench. Ideal candidate: • Aware of concrete cover and tolerance requirements • Own basic tools such as pliers, tie hook, tape and level At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
