Steel fixer • Namakkal, State of Tamil Nadu

Great opportunity: we are hiring a steel fixer in Namakkal, State of Tamil Nadu. The job is on an infrastructure project such as a metro or flyover. Day to day you will install chairs and bar supports to hold up the top mat; lay and tie mesh for slabs and ground-bearing floors; keep the rebar stacked, tagged and free of mud and loose rust; lift and land prefabricated cages with the crane and banksman; set out starter bars and column dowels for the next lift; fit mechanical couplers where shown on the drawings. You should bring physically fit for heavy lifting and long spells bending and kneeling; own basic tools such as pliers, tie hook, tape and level. 5+ years on the tools preferred.
