Join our team: we are hiring a machinist in Raipur, State of Chhattisgarh. The job is in a sampling and tailoring workshop. The role involves match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching; change needles, presser feet and folders to suit the fabric and operation; attach collars, cuffs, plackets, pockets and waistbands as per the spec sheet; keep an even stitch density (SPI) and a straight, consistent seam line; stitch seams, hems, side seams and shoulder joins to the marked seam allowance. Ideally you have ITI / tailoring certificate is a plus; understands fabric types and how to handle knits versus wovens. ₹35,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
