Foundry operative — Jamtara

We are recruiting: we are hiring a foundry operative in Jamtara, State of Jharkhand. You should bring knowledge of green-sand and resin-bonded moulding; willing to work in hot, dusty conditions and rotating shifts. Your main tasks: • Maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings • Operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant • Pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles • Check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring • Shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale • Apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
