Day-to-day duties: • Check and top up coolant, brake fluid and power-steering fluid • Carry out oil and filter changes • Service and replace timing belts and chains • Trace electrical faults in the starting and charging systems • Replace alternators, starter motors and batteries You should have: • Comfortable working in inspection pits and on ramps • Valid driving licence • Own set of hand tools Rotating shifts.
