Vacancy available: sand plant operator (West Bengal)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a sand plant operator in Cooch Behar District, West Bengal. Ideal candidate: • Keen eye for casting defects during inspection • Knowledge of green-sand and resin-bonded moulding • Comfortable working close to furnaces and molten metal On a typical shift you will pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles; cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch; operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant; check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring; tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle. Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. Part-time with flexible hours. Meals and transport allowance provided. Walk-in interviews this week — bring your tools.
