Now hiring: we are hiring a blocklayer in Gir Somnath, State of Gujarat. The job is at a renovation and extension job. Ideally you have CSCS card or willingness to obtain one; proven experience laying facing and engineering bricks. You will building the corners (leads) first and racking back the courses; laying bricks to the line, level and plumb; mixing mortar to the right consistency with sand, cement and plasticiser; building cavity walls and bedding in wall ties and insulation; installing damp-proof courses, lintels and cavity trays; cutting bricks to size with a bolster and club hammer or angle grinder.
