Site carpenter — Thoothukkudi

We are recruiting: we are hiring a site carpenter in Thoothukkudi, State of Tamil Nadu. You will be based in a bespoke joinery workshop. The role involves: • Cut sheet material and timber with a circular saw, jigsaw and table saw • Plane and sand timber to a smooth, square finish • Glue, clamp, screw and dowel joints together • Apply edge banding, veneers and laminate to board • Read and work from architectural drawings and cutting lists • Build and erect roof trusses, rafters and stud partitions Ideal candidate: • Own basic hand tools • Sound knowledge of timber types, grades and fixings Part-time with flexible hours.
