Banksman — Uttar Kannada

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a banksman in Uttar Kannada, State of Karnataka. The job is at a busy construction site. On a typical shift you will calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift; carry out daily checks on cranes, hoists and lifting tackle; attach wire rope and chain slings to loads using shackles and hooks; establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area; fit tag lines to control and steady suspended loads; select the correct slings, shackles and chains for each load's weight. Ideally you have comfortable working at height and in confined spaces; ability to read lift plans and rigging diagrams; confident with standard crane hand signals. Rotating shifts.
