Great opportunity: we are hiring a crane operator in Mandya, State of Karnataka. You will be based at a container port and shipping yard. Day to day you will keep a safe distance from overhead power lines; read and interpret the load chart before every lift; carry out pre-start checks on the crane, wire ropes and hook block; climb and inspect the tower crane mast and tie-ins; keep every lift within the safe working load (SWL); park up the crane, stow the jib and isolate at end of shift. Ideal candidate: • Valid crane operator licence or certificate (CPCS, NPORS or local equivalent) • Able to read load charts and lifting plans 2+ years on the tools preferred.
