The role involves attach collars, cuffs, plackets, pockets and waistbands as per the spec sheet; stitch seams, hems, side seams and shoulder joins to the marked seam allowance; set armholes and sleeves, easing the cap so there are no puckers; thread the machine, wind bobbins and balance top and bottom tension; topstitch and edge-stitch with the correct margin for a clean finish; clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift. You should bring good eyesight and steady hands for fine, accurate stitching; knows how to set tension, change needles and do basic machine maintenance; hands-on with single needle, overlock and flatlock machines. 2+ years on the tools preferred.
