Requirements: • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety • Comfortable welding mild steel, stainless and aluminium • Able to grind, fit-up and tack independently Day to day you will maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose; change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch; tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing; grind back and re-weld any defective runs.
