Immediate opening: we are hiring a crawler crane operator in Thoothukkudi, State of Tamil Nadu. The role involves work out the load weight and the lifting radius; carry out pre-start checks on the crane, wire ropes and hook block; fill in the daily logbook and raise defect reports; keep a safe distance from overhead power lines; grease the slew ring and inspect the wire rope for broken strands; hoist, slew and lower loads smoothly and under control. We are looking for valid crane operator licence or certificate (CPCS, NPORS or local equivalent); proven experience on mobile, tower or overhead cranes.
