Immediate opening: we are hiring a sample machinist in Tehri Garhwal, State of Uttarakhand. You will be based in a small denim manufacturing unit. Your main tasks: • Trim loose threads, clip curves and notch corners as you go • Topstitch and edge-stitch with the correct margin for a clean finish • Match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching • Press open seams or use a folder/binder attachment for bound edges • Change needles, presser feet and folders to suit the fabric and operation • Keep an even stitch density (SPI) and a straight, consistent seam line What we are looking for: • Hands-on with single needle, overlock and flatlock machines • Can hit the daily piece-rate target consistently • ITI / tailoring certificate is a plus A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew.
