Head butcher — Mahe

Join our team: we are hiring a head butcher in Mahe, Union Territory of Puducherry. The job is at a wholesale meat market. On the job you will handle: • Portion steaks, chops and cutlets to the ordered weights • Weigh, price and label cuts for the display case • Debone shoulders, legs and loins with a boning knife • Monitor chiller and freezer temperatures to keep the cold chain • Trim fat, sinew and silver skin off the cuts Ideally you have quick and accurate on the weighing scales and order maths; clean, presentable and friendly at the counter; comfortable working in cold rooms and chillers.
