Tandoor cook — Panchkula

Join our team: we are hiring a tandoor cook in Panchkula, State of Haryana. You will be based at a busy restaurant kitchen. On the job you will handle: • Check fryer oil and change it when it breaks down • Manage the tandoor and skewer kebabs • Prepare the mise en place before each service • Check deliveries and rotate stock using FIFO • Marinate meats and prepare curries, gravies and bases • Chop, dice and portion vegetables, fish and meat Ideally you have 2+ years' experience as a cook in a busy kitchen; sound knowledge of HACCP and food safety standards; able to read and follow recipes and dockets. 5+ years on the tools preferred.
