Requirements: • Steady hand for filler work and block sanding • Trade certificate in auto body repair an advantage • Good eye for panel gaps and body lines Your main tasks: • Straighten chassis and frames on a jig bench with pulling chains • Mix and spread body filler, then block-sand to a smooth contour • Feather-edge old paint and prime bare metal before respray • Measure and set panel gaps for an even shut line • Check alignment with measuring gauges after a structural pull 2+ years on the tools preferred.
