Immediate opening: we are hiring a reinforcement fitter in Birbhum, West Bengal. You will work on a civil engineering bridge and roads site. Ideal candidate: • Own basic tools such as pliers, tie hook, tape and level • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long spells bending and kneeling • Aware of concrete cover and tolerance requirements You will lift and land prefabricated cages with the crane and banksman; cut rebar to length with a bar cutter or angle grinder; form stirrups, links and hooks to the correct dimensions; tie bar intersections with binding wire using a tie hook or pliers; assemble column and beam cages on the bench; check bar diameter, spacing and cover before the pour. ₹37,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
