Stitching operator wanted in East Jaintia Hills

We are recruiting: we are hiring a stitching operator in East Jaintia Hills, Meghalaya. You will be based on a ready-made garment production line. What we are looking for: • Understands fabric types and how to handle knits versus wovens • Comfortable working long hours seated at a fast line • ITI / tailoring certificate is a plus The role involves: • Change needles, presser feet and folders to suit the fabric and operation • Inspect each piece for skipped stitches, broken thread and needle holes • Trim loose threads, clip curves and notch corners as you go • Clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift • Set armholes and sleeves, easing the cap so there are no puckers • Meet the hourly piece-rate target without dropping quality ₹36,000 per project, negotiable for the right hands.
