Ideal candidate: • Comfortable handling and lifting glazed units safely • Knowledge of common hardware systems such as espagnolette and friction hinges • Accurate measuring and squaring to within a couple of millimetres The role involves: • Insert galvanised steel reinforcement into the profile chambers and screw-fix it • Fit fly screens, sills and trickle vents • Crimp glazing beads to length and snap them into the frame • Wrap, label and load finished units for delivery without scratching the profile • Fuse-weld frame and sash corners on the welding machine and check the weld seam • Rout lock and hardware pockets with the copy router Full-time with occasional weekends.
