We are recruiting: we are hiring a furniture maker in Siang, State of Arunachal Pradesh. You will be based on a commercial fit-out site. The role involves: • Finish surfaces with varnish, wax, lacquer or wood stain • Hang internal and external doors, fitting hinges, locks and handles • Apply edge banding, veneers and laminate to board • Install skirting boards, architraves and dado rails • Check work for level, plumb and square with a spirit level You should have: • Sound knowledge of timber types, grades and fixings • NVQ Level 2/3 in Carpentry and Joinery or equivalent Full-time with occasional weekends.
