Urgent requirement: we are hiring a fabricator-welder in Shimoga, State of Karnataka. The role involves: • Prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run • Set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal • Grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper • Strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode • Control heat input so thin sheet does not warp You should bring valid welder certification (ASME IX / ISO 9606 an advantage); physically fit to work in confined spaces and at height. 5+ years on the tools preferred.
