The role involves service power windows, mirrors and wiper motors; trace and fix short circuits and earthing faults; test batteries, alternators and starter motors with a multimeter; fit car stereos, reverse cameras and dashcams. Ideal candidate: • Able to work under the dashboard and bonnet for long periods • Steady hands for soldering fine connections • Good colour vision for identifying wire colours Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
