Urgent requirement: we are hiring a machinist in Angul District, State of Odisha. You will work in a sampling and tailoring workshop. Day-to-day duties: • Attach collars, cuffs, plackets, pockets and waistbands as per the spec sheet • Thread the machine, wind bobbins and balance top and bottom tension • Topstitch and edge-stitch with the correct margin for a clean finish • Clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift • Inspect each piece for skipped stitches, broken thread and needle holes • Set armholes and sleeves, easing the cap so there are no puckers We are looking for 2+ years on industrial sewing machines in a garment factory; comfortable working long hours seated at a fast line; can hit the daily piece-rate target consistently.
