Immediate opening: furniture maker (Union Territory of Puducherry)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a furniture maker in Yanam, Union Territory of Puducherry. Day to day you will finish surfaces with varnish, wax, lacquer or wood stain; cut mortise-and-tenon and dovetail joints with chisels and a mallet; measure and mark out timber using a tape, square and marking gauge; plane and sand timber to a smooth, square finish. You should bring sound knowledge of timber types, grades and fixings; able to read technical drawings and cutting lists; CSCS card for site-based work an advantage. Part-time with flexible hours.
