Great opportunity: we are hiring a foundry worker in Upper Siang, State of Arunachal Pradesh. The role involves: • Fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges • Assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together • Mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture • Operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant • Pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles • Tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle You should bring comfortable working close to furnaces and molten metal; willing to wear full PPE such as heat-resistant apron, spats and visor; willing to work in hot, dusty conditions and rotating shifts.
