Join our team: we are hiring a gas pipe fitter in Bokaro, State of Jharkhand. You will be based in customers' homes and kitchens. Day-to-day duties: • Lay and route steel and copper gas pipe runs to the appliance points • Thread, ream and join black iron pipe with pipe wrenches and thread sealant • Carry out tightness (pressure) tests with a manometer and lock off the supply • Run polyethylene (PE) service pipe and electrofusion-weld the joints • Install gas meters, regulators and isolation valves • Complete gas safety certificates and label the finished installation We are looking for sound knowledge of gas safety regulations and pressure testing; 2+ years' experience on domestic and commercial gas installations.
