Fire and safety officer — Niwari

On the job you will handle: • Conduct job hazard analysis (JHA) on every new task • Stop unsafe work and brief the supervisor on corrective action • Take gas readings with a multi-gas detector before confined-space entry • Deliver site induction to new workers, subcontractors and visitors • Carry out toolbox talks with the crew before each shift Requirements: • Valid first aid and basic firefighting training • Strong record-keeping and incident-reporting skills • Clear spoken delivery for toolbox talks and inductions Six days a week, one day off.
