Requirements: • Able to operate a steam press, vacuum table and fusing machine • A keen eye for scorch, shine and uneven creases On a typical shift you will operate the steam press and vacuum table to finish garments; clean and descale the iron soleplate and steam vents; fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press; set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics; use a pressing cloth to protect delicate fabrics.
