Sewing machine operator — Bongaigaon

Vacancy available: we are hiring a sewing machine operator in Bongaigaon, Assam. You will be based at a knitwear stitching unit. We are looking for 2+ years on industrial sewing machines in a garment factory; quality-conscious with an eye for puckers, skipped stitches and uneven seams. The role involves thread the machine, wind bobbins and balance top and bottom tension; topstitch and edge-stitch with the correct margin for a clean finish; sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required; meet the hourly piece-rate target without dropping quality; press open seams or use a folder/binder attachment for bound edges; attach collars, cuffs, plackets, pockets and waistbands as per the spec sheet.
