Milling machinist — Ganderbal

Join our team: we are hiring a milling machinist in Ganderbal, State of Jammu and Kashmir. You will be based in a toolroom. The role involves deburr and finish machined edges with files and emery; set spindle speeds and feed rates to suit the material and cutter; read engineering drawings and GD&T to plan the machining sequence; select and fit end mills, face mills and slot drills into collets and arbors; set up and operate vertical and horizontal milling machines. What we are looking for: • Able to grind and set HSS cutters • Knows feeds, speeds and tooling for steel, aluminium and cast iron • Proficient with micrometers, vernier callipers and dial gauges Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
