Fabricator-welder — Surajpur

Vacancy available: we are hiring a fabricator-welder in Surajpur, State of Chhattisgarh. You will be based at a busy sheet-metal workshop. We are looking for able to pass a practical weld test on the first day; valid welder certification (ASME IX / ISO 9606 an advantage); able to read isometric and fabrication drawings. On a typical shift you will carry out 6G pipe welds where required; select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job; grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper; prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run; back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring).
