Immediate opening: we are hiring a hand presser in Chumoukedima, State of Nagaland. You will set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics; fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press; press open seams, darts and pleats during stitching; clean and descale the iron soleplate and steam vents; shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board; keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure. You should have: • Able to keep pace with line speed and piece targets • A keen eye for scorch, shine and uneven creases At least 6 year(s) in a similar role. Six days a week, one day off.
