Day-to-day duties: • Replace damaged doors, wings, bonnets and bumpers • Read insurance damage reports and assessor estimates • Feather-edge old paint and prime bare metal before respray • Strip out lights, mouldings and trims before repair Ideally you have confident reading insurance estimates and damage reports; steady hand for filler work and block sanding; physically fit for lifting panels, bending and kneeling.
