Argon arc welder • Bishnupur, Manipur

Urgent requirement: we are hiring an argon arc welder in Bishnupur, Manipur. You will work at a pipe-fitting and pressure-vessel shop. On a typical shift you will back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise; run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec; inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut; read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing; tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run. You should have: • ITI or trade certificate in welding an advantage • Able to pass a weld test on the spot • Steady hand and good hand-eye coordination 2+ years on the tools preferred.
