Immediate opening: we are hiring a trowel-trade bricklayer in Saraikela, State of Jharkhand. The role involves setting out walls from the drawings and marking the brick gauge; checking every course for height and level with a gauge rod; erecting and working off trestles and scaffold lifts; buttering the perpends and tapping each brick down to the gauge; building cavity walls and bedding in wall ties and insulation; forming arches, piers and reveals around openings. Requirements: • Proven experience laying facing and engineering bricks • CSCS card or willingness to obtain one • Comfortable working at height on scaffolding At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
