Urgent requirement: furniture assembly handyman (Manipur)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a furniture assembly handyman in Jiribam, Manipur. You will work in a warehouse or showroom for a self-assembly furniture retailer. The role involves: • Use a cordless drill/driver and hex keys to tighten fittings to the right torque • Install sliding wardrobe doors and overhead track systems • Break down and remove packaging, cardboard and polystyrene after the job • Anchor tall furniture to the wall with anti-tip straps and brackets • Move and position heavy furniture without marking floors, walls or doorframes Requirements: • Own van or vehicle to carry tools and parts between jobs • Own tool kit: screwdrivers, Allen keys, spirit level, tape measure, rubber mallet Overtime paid at a premium rate. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
