Immediate opening: we are hiring a glass fitter in Chamoli, State of Uttarakhand. You will be based at a glass and aluminium factory. You will glaze shopfronts, curtain walls and glass partitions; grind and polish cut edges to take off the sharp arris; cut glass to size using a glass cutter and running pliers; fit double-glazed sealed units into frames; apply putty, silicone and glazing tape to bed the glass; install mirrors, shower screens and glass balustrades. You should bring able to cut glass accurately to size; proven experience as a glazier or glass fitter. ₹32,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Full-time, day shift.
