We are recruiting: we are hiring a halal butcher in Sabarkantha, State of Gujarat. You will work in a supermarket meat department. The role involves: • Break down beef, mutton and chicken carcasses into primal cuts • Keep HACCP hygiene records and sanitise the block and tools • Monitor chiller and freezer temperatures to keep the cold chain • Dress the chilled counter and rotate stock by date • Debone shoulders, legs and loins with a boning knife You should bring 2+ years experience working as a butcher; comfortable working in cold rooms and chillers. 2+ years on the tools preferred.
