Immediate opening: we are hiring a tower crane operator in Kurung Kumey, State of Arunachal Pradesh. The job is at a shipbuilding yard. Day to day you will read and interpret the load chart before every lift; fit the counterweights and check the ground bearing pressure; park up the crane, stow the jib and isolate at end of shift; climb and inspect the tower crane mast and tie-ins; follow hand signals and radio calls from the banksman or slinger; carry out pre-start checks on the crane, wire ropes and hook block. Ideally you have a good head for heights for tower crane work; valid crane operator licence or certificate (CPCS, NPORS or local equivalent). We offer ₹34,000 per month plus benefits.
